LACTAZE

LACTAZE is a natural replacement therapy for the lactase enzyme, which is produced naturally in the small intestine to help breakdown lactose / milk sugar. LACTAZE Extra Strength Tablets are chewable tablets with a minty flavour and are suitable for adults and children.

Lactase source: Aspergillus.
Each tablet contains 4000 FCC LACTAZE Units
Contains: dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, lactase, calcium stearate and natural mint flavour.

Dosage and Directions of use:

Adults and older children:
Chew 1 - 2 LACTAZE Extra Strength Tablets with the first bite of food containing dairy. The enzyme is effective for up to 1 hour. However, another dose should be taken if more than one hour has lapsed between eating or drinking dairy products.

For Infants and younger children:
Crush a quarter to half a LACTAZE Extra Strength Tablet and mix with a little expressed breast milk, other milk or boiled and cool water to form a thin paste. Put the mixture on the baby or child’s tongue before feeding. The amount needed will depend on the individuals’ needs.
