L-Mesitran® is a hydro-active range of gels and dressings that utilize the therapeutic benefits of honey in a variety of easy to use presentations.

L-Mesitran® is available in Ointment and Dressings:

L-Mesitran® Ointment - 48% medical grade honey for dry, necrotic, sloughy and infected Wounds. L-Mesitran® Soft - 40% medical grade honey for dry, necrotic, sloughy and infected, sensitive wounds. E.g. leg ulcers. All dressings can be used with non to mild exudating wounds. L-Mesitran® Hydrogel Dressing - impregnated with 30% medical grade honey concentrate. L-Mesitran® NET - a multipurpose wound contact layer impregnated with 20% medical grade honey concentrate. Can be combined with the ointment and softgel. It must be covered with a secondary dressing. L-Mesitran® Border - a combined hydrogel and honey pad on a strong fixation layer impregnated with 30% honey concentrate. Suitable for wet conditions e.g. showering and incontinence.
